fresh and not
May is the month of "Freshness" at Self Portrait Challenge.
While in Portland, I had a couple opportunities to eat at the Macaroni Grill. The first time we were seated indoors, and although the food was great, eating outside had enough appeal to bring me back again for another try at a sidewalk table.
The second time proved to be a charm. My party and I scored a great outdoor table and I ordered a deliciously fresh salad.
While eating I decided it would be a good shot for May's theme, but for more reasons than one. I noticed after snapping my shot, that my fingernail polish exemplifies the opposite of fresh! I needed to repaint them so badly, I was almost embarrassed to show this picture. Almost. :o)

lol I was wondering who's hand that was because you are always so perfectly put together! Love the color though... maybe a shot when the color is "freshly" put on?

I'm not sure that I would find the image so wonderful if not for that blue, chipped fingernail!!!! It would look too much like a Macaroni Grill advertisement and not a unique photo with personality and humanity to it!! I love this image, it is technically sophisticated and so elegant!! Nothing like FRESH salad!! Love It!!!
