health and dallas
Two things in which I would have found great pleasure today.
To get the sad news out of the way, I am ill. Sick in the way that happens only once every couple of years. A mysterious ailment that brings with it a pounding migraine, a ore throat, fever, chills, and zaps me of all my strength. Yes, health would have been nice today.
Yet, I still found a silver lining while laying limp on the sofa...
Adam Scott (my Adam as I like to think of him affectionately), drained 48-foot putt in a sudden death playoff, to win the Byron Nelson. It was incredible!
It would have been SO much fun to be in Dallas today to watch this. We were glued to the television and I shouted with excitement when the putt went in, but the roar of the crowd in person and the celebration live..... now that would have been thrilling.

Sorry to hear that you're sick, but at least your favorite golfer gave you something to smile about yesterday.
